How is everyone using color?

Read this article and realize I've been lazy relying on hex codes for too long. Now hardware technology and CSS have opened up and stabilized around new color displays like P3 and color spaces like OKLCH.

How are you thinking about color today and for tomorrow?

I also see that Bjango (makers of iStat Menus), has a really nice color app called Pinwheel which can be used to design and test (including accessibility) colors before deploying. Will try it out.

The future of design is always about subversion.

Subversion requires understanding the system to move outside of it without losing the context of the system.

If the subversion resonates, becoming a new boundary for the system and the cycle begins again.
