Webflow Weekly

Issue 6

This week was no let down! I mean let's just take a moment to breathe in the fact that product variants are live. Aahhh... that is good stuff. There were some standout showcases #madeinwebflow too and are all worth checking out. YMU is great example of a refined modern business website. Good selection of tips, tricks, and tuturials to check out when you have time or if they are relevant to your current work. Lastly Udesly released a new widget for highly customized Google Maps with custom markers.

Here's some content from Webflow's official channels.

Sell multiple variants of the same product

Now you can add product options like size, color, and material (or whatever else you have in mind) to sell multiple variants of the same product.

👏 I started using this feature the day it was released. So good!

When creative block is actually fear, and how to get unstuck. I’m a writer — and this is the first thing outside a rambly Facebook post I’ve written in almost two years. I’d tell you I’ve been suffering from writer’s block, but that’s not true — fear is the culprit.

Everyone hits walls now and then. How can we handle it better?

How to create a CMS-powered slider

Webflow users have long wanted to populate sliders with content pulled straight from their CMS Collections. With pagination, it’s finally possible.

This is a good trick to add to your bag.

Life is a journey. Just keep moving.

Originally from Oklahoma City but have lived in the UK, Southern Africa, and am currently in Costa Rica. My family and I enjoy traveling and experiencing other cultures. The world and its people are amazing!

What I do

My background since 2002 is in media design with experience in videography, graphic design, and web design. Then I transitioned to a visual developer building custom designs using Webflow. Now I work at Webflow as a QA Analyst.

When I'm not building websites, I'm talking about it here, on Youtube, on Twitter, and on the Webflow forum.

This Site

Oh and you might have noticed that I'm a Macintosh fan. Been a user since 1993. My career in creative media wouldn't have been possible without Macs.

Feel free to browse around my virtual computer. You never know what you might find.

Note: I do use affiliate links on this site. It allows me, as a freelancer, to earn a small amount if you use and like something I recommend.

Maybe it's not a good idea to shut my website down without a hardware reset button. Proceed?

Just kidding. Nothing was actually shutdown. It wouldn't have been a good idea. Do it again?
